Building a School

Our location at 10168 W Sample Road opened officially opened its doors on August 25, 2008. However, it took a lot of hard work and some awesome volunteers to get the school ready in time for the Grand Opening.

Zimmerman School House

Abi's Place began as Zimmerman School House (which is why we are a "dba" - doing business as). Here's one of our first ads, announcing an event and a school "Coming to Coral Springs." We've sure grown a lot since then!

Family Fun Day 2007

Family Fun Day took place in February 2007, when Abi's Place was still just a one-room school in the Zimmerman household. With big dreams of saving up enough money to open an actual school, Danielle planned a fun-filled day with vendors, bounce houses, face painting and more!
